West had seating auditions for her school orchestra a couple of weeks ago and is now concertmaster.
Ben and West played their concertos in a piano recital today. I didn’t video Ben because he was playing the same piece he played a week ago with the OPRF Symphony. Here’s a still photo of him playing with West turning pages. Next to that is a photo of Ben playing our grand piano that we bought last month (there’s also one he took of himself in this post)
Below is a video of West playing the Kabalevsky Youth Concerto first movement at today’s recital. It’s the same piece she played for MYA but she felt she played it better today so I’m posting video of it again.
