Since we’re English, we listened to Big Ben strike midnight on BBC Radio 4 on the Internet. Happy New Year!

    hey helen, happy new year!!!!!!! since we’re american we watched the ball drop, again, in NYC. My kids were like, We stayed up for that? Next year we’ll so something else more exciting than watch an orb descend down upon a million New Year’s Eve revelers….anyway, here’s to 2007!!!!!!!

    Thanks Paul. I tried to get BBC TV live on the Internet but I could only figure out how to get BBC radio. I agree that it’s a funny sound to start the year with! 🙂

    Thanks Pam! It’s handy for me that I can mark the New Year at 6 p.m. CST since I’m a morning not an evening person – and so I usually give up and go to bed well before midnight!
